I was not using subject, and let anymore in my rspec tests. Too complicated when developers new to rspec where joining the team. But after a talk with a good friend, and way better developer than I am, and after I (re)discovered the “its” keyword, I let myself using those syntax sugar again. And my tests are way leaner now. I voluntarely chose a simple example. Don’t hesitate to look on the interwebs for more complete examples =)
